The performance evaluation protocol of graphics recognition algorithms 6 (published in MVA, 1997) has been frequently used as performance evaluation protocol in quite a few related contests (GREC2001, 2003, 2005, 2009, and 2011).
The system also participated in the series of GREC contests many times (1995, 1997, 1999, 2007, 2009 and 2011) and especially won the first place in the Dashed Line Detection Contest during GREC1995. It was also evaluated as the best system for mechanical engineering drawings recognition among the three participants in the Graphics Recognition Contest during GREC1997. The system is committed as an open source project at http://code.google.com/p/vrliu/.
